Tecumseh Volleyball- The Arrows rolled to their tenth win of the season in 11 games, as they swept three games from Ben Logan, 25-17, 25-18, 25-17.

Lindsey Nartker led the Arrows with 15 kills and five aces, while Kara Willardson added four kills along with three blocks. Baylee Pursifull had a solid all-around game with three kills, five aces and six blocks, while Caroline Smith dished out 23 assists and had two blocks.

*Tecumseh continued their success with a three-game sweep over Bellefontaine, 25-9, 25-14, 25-16, pushing the Arrows record to 11-1 on the season.

Lindsey Nartker led the Arrows with nine kills, 18 digs and two blocks, while Smith added 27 assists, and Laura Hillard had eight kills, five aces and two blocks.

*On Saturday, the Arrows split games with Northmont and Fort Loramie in a tri-match.

Tecumseh defeated Northmont 25-13, 25-15, as Nartker had nine kills and 15 digs, Lucy Eier with 11 digs and four aces, and Smith with 19 assists and three aces.

In their 25-17, 25-18 loss to Fort Loramie, Nartker had five kills and eight digs, while Eier had seven digs and two aces.

Tecumseh will be hosting their Pink Out game on October 1 against Tippecanoe.

Tecumseh Boys Soccer- The Tecumseh boys’ soccer team fought the Mad River Division leading Urbana Hillclimbers to a 2-2 tie last week, in a crossover CBC soccer game at Urbana.

Defender Tyler Adams scored a goal for the Arrows, while junior midfielder Anton Brehmer added the second goal for Tecumseh. He also assisted Adams’ goal.

Ridge O’Daniel saw four shots for the Arrows in goal.

Scoring for Urbana was Mklaine Eggleston and Trevor Adams.

*Also last week, Tecumseh defeated Indian Lake 2-0 in a CBC match. Kenyon Runner and Anton Brehmer both scored goals for the Arrows.

Tecumseh Girls Soccer- Tecumseh won their third girls’ soccer game of the season last week, by defeating Urbana 2-0 in Central Buckeye Conference play. Scoring for the Arrows were Ally Roberts and Hannah Marquette.

The Arrows also defeated Fairborn 1-0, as Jasmine Hassell scored the lone goal on Saturday.

Tecumseh Cross Country- The Arrows did not have any cross country events last week, and returns to action this Saturday at the George Rogers Invitational.

Tecumseh Tennis- Greenville defeated Tecumseh 4-1 in a non-league tennis match last week. Karli Mulkey defeated Anja Mentel 6-3, 6-3 at first singles for the lone Arrows win. Falling short at second doubles was Tecumseh’s Libby Foland, losing to Anna Mangus 6-2, 6-3. At third singles, Greenville won by forfeit.

Selina Cabrera and Bea Neves lost at first doubles, falling to Greenville’s Mallory Rich and Schmitmeyer 6-0, 6-1, while at second doubles, it was Aurora Miller and Nazareth Saverimoutou losing to Milly Hunt and Casey Mallott 6-1, 6-1.

Also last week, the Arrows lost to Kenton Ridge 3-2 in a close league matchup. Mulkey won at first singles over Cassandra Freshour 6-1, 6-4, while Foland also was victorious at second singles over Macy Wallace 4-6, 7-6, 6-2. The other four matches were all won by Kenton Ridge.

*Tecumseh came back with a 4-1 loss to Stebbins last week. Gaining the lone win for the Arrows was Mulkey over Ukhtiyayera 6-0, 6-0. Foland and Miller both lost in the other singles matches, while the doubles teams were defeated also. Neves and Cabrera lost at first doubles 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, and at second doubles, Guzman and Saverimoutou lost 6-2, 6-2.
