The SAR Bronze Medal and Ribbon was presented by Past Secretary Allan T. Abell to Cadet SMSgt. Merrill G. Cline, of whom her parents, Matt and Kristin Cline, are very proud. Cadet SMSgt. Cline is a sophomore at Tecumseh High School. She has been with the 881st Ohio AFJROTC unit for two years. She is involved with the AFJROTC Cyber Patriot team and the Drill Team. She has competed with the female Color Guard, inspection and the unarmed exhibition teams.

She is a saxophone player with the Concert Band, the Jazz Band and the Marching Band at Tecumseh and has participated in two musicals, “Filler on the Roof” and ”Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

After graduation, Cadet SMSgt. Cline would like to attend the Coast Guard Academy and join the Coast Guard as a commissioned officer, and then go to flight school to become a helicopter pilot.
