JA Volunteers Makes a Difference in the Lives of Young People in the Community

April 10-16 is National Volunteer Week, which honors people who dedicate themselves to taking action and solving problems in their communities.

Junior Achievement of Mad River Region would like to recognized the many volunteers who make Junior Achievement programs in our area possible. Your exceptional dedication and service to Junior Achievement inspires and prepares students to succeed in a global economy. “Volunteers like you have been an invaluable part of making Junior Achievement so successful in area,” said Louise Lambert, president of Junior Achievement of the Mad River Region. “Volunteers bring their personal and professional experiences to students in the community and help them make the connection between what they are learning in school and what they will need to succeed in work and life.”

Locally, Junior Achievement of Mad River Region serves more than 8, 500 students each year in our 4 county area. Our volunteers are part of a national network of business and community volunteers who are helping young people develop the competence, confidence, and character needed for success in school, work, and life.

“Our volunteers are helping reinforce the value of an education to countless students,” Ms. Lambert said. “Our volunteers are a wonderful example of how individuals can make such a huge difference in the lives of young people in our community.”

Junior Achievement Mad River Region provides programs to students in Clark, Champaign, Logan, and Madison Counties.
