77, of Medway passed away Friday, March 2, 2018.

He was born September 1, 1940 in St. Paris, OH, the son of the late Herman and Ethel Sheffer. Bob retired from Scarff’s Nursery in 2010 after 62 years.

He was a hardworking man, devoted husband, father and grandfather. Bob is preceded in death by his son Robert Douglas Sheffer.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Barbara Jean; son Todd (Veronica Davidson) Sheffer; daughter Kelly (Kris Brommeland) Steele; sister Dorothy Hull; grandchildren Jaxon Steele, Brooke and Brandon Sheffer; numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Visitation was Monday, March 5, 2018, from 5-8 PM in TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME. A funeral to honor Bob was Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 1:00 PM in the funeral home with burial in Casstown Cemetery.
