3:42 a.m. – To the 3300 block of S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd.  A vehicle southbound on Dayton-Lakeview left the roadway on the left side, rolled over an unknown number of times, struck a natural gas regulator and came to rest on its top.  The driver was charged with failure to control.

7:13 p.m. – To Woodbury Rd. for a report of a domestic dispute.  A woman reported that her stepson and her daughter were playing in the living room and that the daughter came into her room with a bleeding lip.  She said she told the stepson to go to his room and he said “I don’t need you.  You’re not my family.”  She said she grabbed some of his things and walked back into her bedroom.  She said he charged at her, called her unkind names, grabbed his things and threw here cell phone against the wall,  She said she shoved him out of her room and he started beating on the door trying to push it open.  She said he yelled “unlock the door or I’ll get a knife and kill you.”  The son admitted to threatening to kill her.  He was arrested for Domestic Violence and Menacing and taken to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.

8:52 p.m. – To Cambridge Court for a report of an unwanted guest.  A woman reported that the father of her children came by while she was not home.  She said she had denied him visitation beause she heard that he was going to run off with the children.  She asked for an extra patrol.

9:04 p.m. – To Zimmerman St. for a report of a domestic disturbance.  A woman reported that she had bought beer on her mother’s debit card without permission and that a verbal argument with her mother ensued.  She said that during the argument coffee accidentally was spilled on her.  No one wished to press charges and both parties agreed to separate for the evening.

11:24 p.m. – To W. National Rd. for a report of a domestic disturbance.  A woman reported that her daugher was upset, pushed an oil lamp onto the floor spilling oil onto a 3-year-old child.  The daughter then left the residence in the woman’s vehicle.  She said that she did not wish to press charges, but just wanted her car back because the daughter’s license was suspended.  Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.  She was given information on obtaining a protection order.

Monday, December 29

1:35 a.m. – A N. Church St. resident called to report the theft of her cell phone from her residence while she was in the hospital.  She suspects her live-in girlfriend who had moved her possessions out of the residence.  She said that she was having the locks changed.

11:25 a.m. – To Langdale Dr. for a report of a domestic disturbance.  A woman reported that her son was tearing up the house.  The son was extremely belligerent toward the deputy and threatened him with physical harm..  He said that the only reason the deputy was a “cop” was because he was picked on in school and that he was going to throw a rock through the cruiser’s window.  He also threatened to break the windows of the substation and the dpeuty’s home.  He knew the deputy’s home address.  The son was charged with intimidation of a police officer and ordered into court.

3:21 p.m. – To Jefferson and Clay Streets for a report of an accident.  A driver reached out of his vehicle to pick up something off the ground, and fell out of the vehicle.  It was still in gear and proceeded across the street, knocked down a stop sign and came to rest in a yard.  

4:26 p.m. – To Langdale Dr.  A woman reported that her juvenile daughter used her debit card in Miami County without her permission.  She was advised to contact the Miami County Sheriff’s office.

10:57 p.m. – To Rawson Dr. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman reported that she was at her mother’s home in Park Layne when the father of her child came to see the child. She said that he closed the door on her head and said “shut up, don’t talk to me.  You’re dead to me.”  She had no visible injuries.  She signed a probable cause statement.  The father was located in Miami County, returned to Clark County and taken to the Clark County Jail on charges of Domestic Violence and Assault.

11:42 p.m. – To Orth Dr. for a report of a domestic disturbance.  A woman reported that she was involved in a verbal dispute with her daughter over the woman’s new boyfriend.  She said that she went for a walk to cool down and the daughter had locked her out of the home.  She said that they have worked out their problems.

Tuesday, December 30

1:46 a.m. – Traffic stop on S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. at Styer Dr.  The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant and had several Zoloft pills in his possession.  The pills were submitted into evidence.  Charges are pending lab results and proof of prescription.

11:34 a.m. – To Deerfield Dr. for a report of a theft.  A woman reported that someone entered her vehicle on December 19 and took her wallet containing her driver’s license and social security card.  She said she didn’t realize it was missing until today. There are no suspects.

Wednesday, December 31

1:00 p.m. – To the 100 block of Orth Dr. for a report of an accident.  An unknown vehicle had struck a residence causing damage to the building.  

Thursday, January 1

9:54 a.m. – A man came to the substation and stated that he was to get his son today, but the mother did not arrive with the child.  He asked that the incident be documented.

Friday, January 2

6:43 p.m. – Deputies were alerted to look for a 2011 Hyundai in the area of Main St. and Lake Ave. driving errantically and possibly going to Orth Dr. to buy drugs.  Deputies arrived at Orth Dr. and located the vehicle and the driver.  He said that he was driving erratically because his parents were in the process of a divorce and that it was bothering him.  He was asked why he was at a known drug house and appeared intoxicated.  He said he needed a place to stay because his parents kicked him out of the house.  He then said he needed help with his drug problem.  Medics were called, the cuffs were taken off and he began resisting.  He was placed under arrest for persistent disorderly conduct and taken to the Clark County Jail.
