Sunday 11/19

5:28 p.m. To Orth Dr. for a report of a domestic dispute. A woman had texted a friend and stated that a wanted man was at her residence. Deputies found the suspect in a bedroom. She said that there was an argument, but nothing got physical.

8:21 p.m. To W. National Rd. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman reported that her husband came home yelling at her because she caught him with another woman. She said that once she confronted him about it, he threw her to the ground. She had no visible injuries and did not wish to press charges. The husband had left before deputies arrived.

10:10 p.m. To Kennedy Dr. for a report of a theft. A man reported that he took the trash out and found that the front plate was missing from his vehicle. He does not know when the plate was stolen or by whom.

Monday 11/20

1:53 p.m. To Brubaker Dr. for a report of an accident. A woman reported that someone struck her vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot. There are no suspects.

7:23 p.m. To Kennedy Dr. for a report of an overdose. When the deputy arrived, medics were already attending to a woman in the bathroom. The RP said that about an hour previous, his girlfriend’s daughter had arrived and went into the bathroom. He said that after about a half hour, he called for her but she did not answer, but could hear her snoring. He said he opened the door and found her slumped over in the bathtub. Medics administered Narcan and she came around. She refused to be transported. She said that she had snorted some heroin before going into the bathroom and relapsed due to “things going on in her life.”

9:29 p.m. To Rt. 235 and Styer Dr. for a report of an accident. Two vehicles were northbound. One started moving believing that the vehicle in front of him was moving, but it was not and he struck it. There was minor damage to only one vehicle and no injuries.

Tuesday 11/21

9:10 a.m. To W. National Rd. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A man reported that he was doing the dishes and his father came in and yelled at him to put the dishes down. He said his father then smacked him in the forehead, punched him in the left arm and pushed him into the washer. He did not have any visible injuries. He said that his father and step-mother are always yelling at him. The father said that the argument was verbal and that there was no physical altercation.

9:20 a.m. To Lambers Dr. to assist Bethel Twp. Medics with a woman who was not breathing. The deputy arrived and found the woman was not breathing, could not find a pulse and her arms were cold to the touch. He began CPR until Medics arrived. Medics continued life-saving techniques bot none were working. A medic contacted a doctor who advised to discontinue life saving techniques, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman had a history of health issues and was supposed to be on oxygen, but only used it at night.

1:16 p.m. To Quick Rd. for a report of threats. A man reported that he contracts with another business to take care of lawn care at several properties. He said that since he is retired, he subcontracts the work to another company. He said that the company that hired him has fallen behind in their payments, making it difficult for him to pay his subcontractor. He said that he is in the process of legal action to collect around $7,500 to $10,000 that is due him. He also said that he has been contacted by his subcontractor in an aggressive manner. He said that he has told the subcontractor several times to file legal action against him. He asked that the deputy contact the subcontractor to advise him to stop calling and texting. The deputy called the subcontractor and advised him that the RP doesn’t want any contact from him. The subcontractor then began yelling and screaming at the deputy and accused the deputy of threatening him and that the deputy needed to get his money from the RP. The deputy again advised him not to contact the RP and that he could face charges if he continued. He continued to yell at the deputy, then quickly hung up. The RP was advised of the conversation with the subcontractor.

3:17 p.m. A woman came to the New Carlisle Substation to report a domestic disturbance. She said that her father wanted her to drive him around and after asking several times, she finally agreed to take him to the Sunoco station in Medway. She said that he got mad at her because she was taking him home when he wanted to ride around. She said that he grabbed her arm and tried to pull on the steering wheel. She had no signs of any injury and did not wish to press charges. She only wanted the incident documented.

Wednesday 11/22

10:12 p.m. To Villa Dr. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A man said that his girlfriend was disrespecting him by telling him that she was doing different things and not telling him what she was doing. This led to a verbal fight and, during the argument, her phone was broken. The RP was heavily intoxicated to the point that he could hardly stand up. The girlfriend said that the RP had been drinking all day and he accused her of messing around on him. The RP said that he would go to a family member’s home for the evening.

10:59 p.m. To W. Lake Ave. for a report of vandalism. A man reported that someone had vandalized his vehicle. He said he heard a twisting metal sound and saw a black SUV leaving the area. He said there was damage to the passenger side of his vehicle, and that this is not the first time it has been damaged. He said that there were marks on his convertible top that looked like someone had poured lighter fluid on it and tried to set it on fire. He was advised that it was frost on his roof. He was advised that there would be extra patrols of the area. As the deputy left, the RP seemed a little confused and kept checking his vehicle.

Thursday 11/23

8:43 p.m. To Orth Dr. for a report of menacing. A woman reported that she is in the midst of a child custody case and has been receiving threatening Facebook messages from her sister-in-law. The messages were found to be not threatening.

Monday 11/27

No time given To Dialton Rd. for a report of a domestic disturbance. Deputies arrived to find a man on the front porch who said he had a knife. He gave a deputy the knife and said that he was assaulted in the house, then chased out by two other males. He said he then pulled out his knife and threatened to kill them. Inside the house were the man’s sister, nephew and another male. The sister said that the man tried to steal the other man’s cell phone. The nephew went after the man to get the phone back, and that the man punched him several times. The man was charged with domestic violence, assault and aggravated menacing and taken to the Clark County Jail.
