Thursday 1/12

5:30 p.m. Littering in the 3700 block of Rudy Road. Upon arrival on scene, deputy observed a large pile of brush on the side of the road. Dispatch advised a witness observed a male in a white truck dump the limbs on the side of the road. This person was also able to provide a license plate number. Contact was made with the property owner and she stated she wished to pursue charges. The registration was run through LEADS and the owner and address were identified. Deputy responded to the 200 block of S. Dorset and spoke with the registered owner of the truck. He denied the dumping and further stated he had allowed a friend to use the truck but was unwilling to provide a name. Another male who lived at the residence advised he would respond and pick up the brush. Deputy returned to the scene and spoke with a female. She stated she saw a male in his early 20’s, approximately 5’10”, tall and dark hair that dumped the brush. She stated they made eye contact as he continued dumping. A photo was shown to the female and she stated the image looked like the male dumping the brush. The male showed up to pick up the brush and he was asked to shed some light on who dumped the brush. The male admitted the brush was from his house and he paid a roommate $10 to take it to the dump. On Jan. 13 contact was made with Dale White at his residence on Dorset Drive. Deputy explained the facts that he had collected on this case. White stated he was wrong for initially denying he dumped the brush but advised he wished to admit his actions. White was given a citation for littering.

Saturday 1/14

9:45 p.m. Traffic stop for equipment violation in the area of S. State Route 202 and E. State Route 571. Deputy observed vehicle that did not have a working license plate light. Contact was made with the driver, Douglas Renner and reason for the stop explained. After running Renner’s license through LEADS he was found to be suspended. Renner was cited for driving under suspension and not having a working license plate light. Another male arrived on scene and took possession of the vehicle.

Sunday 1/15

9:30 p.m. Abandoned vehicle in the area of S. State Route 202 and Tipp Elizabeth Road. A 48-hour tow sticker was place on the rear window the vehicle.

Monday 1/16

9:33 a.m. Theft of a trash can reported in the 8000 block of New Carlisle Road.

10:56 a.m. Civil dispute in the 7800 block of Newbury Road. RP called dispatch to report a violation of a child custody. RP advised he is supposed to have his children for the holiday and has been unable to make contact with the mother. He advised he had left messages and not heard back. He also went to the residence but no one answered the door. RP requested the incident be documented for his attorney.

5:20 p.m. Accident with injury reported I the area of US Route 40 and Palmer Road.
