Saturday 1/7

12:16 p.m. To Bayberry Dr. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A man reported that he wanted his grandson out of his home because he does not live there. He said the grandson overdosed the previous night in Dayton and his mother brought the grandson to his home, and then they started to argue. The grandson said that his grandparents won’t leave him alone and it is getting on his nerves. He said he lives there, sleeps on the couch and has mail going to the home. The grandson voluntarily left the home to allow things to cool down. The grandmother was advised that she cannot kick her grandson out and that they needed to evict him or get a protection order.

3:22 p.m. To Gary Ln. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman reported that her live-in boyfriend and father of her child assaulted her at their home on Pepperwood Dr. last night. She said she woke up around 3:00 a.m. and saw him smoking what she believed to be meth. She said she told him that she did not want her son around that behavior so she was taking him and leaving. She said that as she was walking toward the door, he grabbed her arms and would not let her go. She said he grabbed her by her hair and dragged her, then picked her up and threw her on the couch. She said he then put his hands around her neck and started choking her. She said he then put moth hands over her mouth and nose so she couldn’t breathe. She said she was able to get him off of her and left with her son. She said she received a text from him stating that he was going to put drugs in her car so she would get arrested, and that neither she nor the son would get out of the home alive. She said she returned home about 1:30 this afternoon and he was still argumentative. She said she then called her father to pick her up. She said she did not report the incident until now because she was afraid that he would kill her and her son if she filed charges. She had injuries consistent with her story. Deputies spoke with the boyfriend by phone who said that she kicked him in the genitals and he passed out. He said that when he came to, he grabbed her arms to keep her from attacking him. He said he grabbed her hoodie to keep her from leaving and may have unintentionally grabbed her hair. He said that he did not want to go back to prison and was leaving the state. He also said that he wanted to press charges against the girlfriend for assaulting him. The boyfriend’s sister then called and said that the boyfriend admitted to assaulting his girlfriend. She said he punched himself in the eye and said “Let’s see her file charges now.” A warrant was requested against the boyfriend for domestic violence, assault and unlawful restraint.

Sunday 1/8

12;31 a.m. To Bellows Dr. for a report of vandalism. A woman reported that her kids told her that some juveniles that they know had broken a window in her home. Her children said that they heard yelling out front and saw four juveniles that they know. The daughter said that one of the juveniles wanted to fight her. She said a friend was visiting and the friend opened the window to talk to the juveniles and one of the juveniles tried to climb in. She said she was arguing with the juvenile, then heard something hit the window and it broke. The friend said she has video of the juvenile climbing in the window and yelling at the daughter. The mother said she wished to press charges against the juveniles. The one who climbed in the window lives in Fairborn, but often stays with his grandmother on Lammes Ln.

2:19 a.m. To Slayton St. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman reported that her mother was involved in a physical altercation with the mother’s husband. She said that the husband was choking his wife in their bedroom, she tried to intervene and the two began arguing. She said that the two were swinging at each other and as she intervened, she was unintentionally struck. She said she struck the husband about 10 times, resulting in swelling and bleeding on his face. The deputy determined that the husband and the RP were mutual aggressors against each other. The RP was arrested for domestic violence and taken to the Clark County Jail. A warrant was requested against the husband for domestic violence.

Monday 1/9

8:35 a.m. To Narcissus Dr. for a report of a domestic disturbance that occurred on 1/9/17. A woman reported that her husband was holding onto her 10-year-old son’s shirt collar “yanking him up.” She said she pushed him off of the boy, then proceeded to “get in her face.” She said her 12-year-old son then hit his father in the back to get him away from her. She said she did not report it until now because their phone was not working. She asked about a protection order and was given information. No charges were filed due to the lack of information and the time factor.

11:38 a.m. To Hartley Ave. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A man and a woman had been arguing, but both agreed that it was only verbal and never turned physical, nor were there any threats.

Tuesday 1/10

1:43 p.m. To Styer Dr. for a report of a break-in. A man reported that someone had broken a basement window to gain access to the building. He said that items were scattered throughout several rooms, but he did not believe that anything was taken. Several doors had been pried open and many items throughout were damaged. Investigators were unable to lift any fingerprints.
