Monday 12/26

2:51 p.m. To Beach Dr. A woman reported that a male friend was at her home and would not leave. She said he just walked in the front door and said he was there to get some of his belongings. She said he also told her to feed him and that he needs to take a nap. The man was transported to a friend’s home.

3:59 p.m. To Todd Lee Dr. for a report of a theft. A man reported that a former roommate forged a check on his account for $200.

4:57 p.m. To Grissom Ave. for a report of menacing. A woman reported that a woman has been calling her and leaving inappropriate messages on her voice mail. She suspects the woman is having an affair with her husband. She said her daughter told her that the woman came to her home and was yelling and cursing outside. She wanted the incident documented in case the problem escalates.

10:50 p.m. To S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a report of an assault. A man reported that he and his girlfriend were arguing on their way back from Huber Heights. He said she dropped him off and he was trying to get into his vehicle when she rammed his vehicle causing minor damage. He said she backed up and rammed his vehicle again pinning him between the two. She then left northbound on Rt. 235. He denied any injuries and refused medical treatment.

Tuesday 12/27

4:30 p.m. To Brubaker Dr. for a report of a theft. A woman reported that she was staying with her sister. She said she was expecting delivery of prescription medications, but they never arrived. She said she called the pharmacy who verified that they were delivered. The sister denied taking the medications. She said another sister has a key to the mailbox, but that she was sleeping at the moment.

6:48 p.m. To Styer Dr. for a report of a burglary. A man reported that he came home from work and found that cardboard covering a broken window was ajar. HE said he went inside and found his video game system and $140 in cash were missing. He identified a possible suspect who was at his home 2 days ago to play video games. He said he has two aggressive dogs and that they had ot know the suspect or they would have bitten him.

Wednesday 12/28

1:52 p.m. To Rawson Dr. for a 911 hangup. A woman reported that she and her sister were arguing over the sister’s son. Both parties agreed that the argument did not become physical. She wanted her sister out of the house. The sister gathered some belongings and called for a ride.

Monday 1/2

1:09 p.m. To S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a report of breaking and entering. A man reported that seven days ago several storage units were broken into. He said today he found nine more had been broken into. The metal doors were pried up, damaging the doors, locks and rails. There are security cameras, but they cannot be accessed today.

7:42 p.m. To Prentice Dr. for a report of theft. A woman reported that she sold a phone to an individual on Facebook. She said she received $400 that turned out to be counterfeit. She tried to bring up the Facebook page for the deputy, but found that she had been blocked.

9:27 p.m. To Falcon Dr. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman reported that she and her boyfriend were involved in a verbal argument that did not turn physical. She said the argument was over a text message that her boyfriend had received.

10:41 p.m. To N. Main St. for a report of an unwanted guest. A woman reported that a male visitor was at her home. She said she asked him to leave and he became upset. She said he threatened to break her neck, then left. She had slurred speech and swayed when she walked.

Tuesday 1/3

2:27 p.m. To S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a report of a theft. A man reported that he saw a man and woman leave his vehicle in a “hasty manner.” He said he had given the two a ride to the gas station and they advised that they did not have any money. He said that money and his cell phone were taken from his vehicle. He said he did not wish to press charges due to past friendship. He called back the next day and said that he did wish to pursue criminal prosecution.

3:54 p.m. To Bowser Dr. for a report of fraud. A woman reported that she believes her sister is using her information to buy a house. She said that she received a phone call stating that she was approved to buy the house.

7:13 p.m. To Rawson Dr. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman reported that her grandson has been arguing with her all day. She said that she wants him out of her house and that she was upset for his calling the Sheriff’s Office earlier in the day asking questions about her trying to kick him out. She said she is tired of his being disrespectful. The grandson said his grandmother is always on his case about minor things, like how much water he uses and how he wears his clothes. He was very upset while talking with the deputies, fearing that he would be kicked out of the home and would have nowhere to go. The woman was advised of the eviction procedure and advised that the deputies could not make him leave today. Both parties advised that they would avoid any further confrontations.

Wednesday 1/4

5:03 a.m. To Funston Ave. A man reported that while he was riding his bike this morning, a car came close to him several times and the male driver yelled at him to get off the road and onto the sidewalk. He got a license number. The deputy spoke with the driver who was a newspaper delivery driver. He said that when he was backing out of a driveway, he came close to the RP because he couldn’t see him. He apologized, and was advised to be aware of his surroundings and not to be in such a hurry delivering papers.

7:41 a.m. To Spinning Rd. for a report of a domestic dispute. A man reported that he got mad at his parents because they would not let him use the car. The father said that he refused to allow his son to use the car, and the son went into his room and started throwing things. HE said he wanted the son to leave. The son was transported to his sister’s house.

Thursday 1/5

10:58 p.m. To Ohio Ave. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman reported that her son was upset because of his sick dog and not following rules. She said he took pictures off of the wall and removed the pictures from the frames. She said he also spit on her. She did not wish to press charges and would not sign a statement. The son said he and his mother were involved in a verbal argument over his sick dog and his mom’s rules. He said he did not spit on his mom. The deputy asked her about the gun she mentioned to dispatch. She said she just said there was a gun to get deputies to her home faster. She was advised that there are deputies assigned to New Carlisle and not to advise that guns are involved if they are not. The son gathered a few personal items and left for the night.
