A man has been arrested after a deputy spotted his vehicle driving in a field off of S. Medway Carlisle Rd Thursday evening.

According to authorities, the car was southbound on S. Medway-Carlisle Rd. when it lost control in the 200 block and went into a field.

That is when a Deputy Sheriff on National Rd. saw the vehicle in the field and went to investigate.

By the time the deputy arrived on the scene, the driver had been able to get back on Medway-Carlisle and was stopped.

A man and a woman were in the vehicle. They said the woman was driving, but investigators question the truthfulness of that statement.

The male occupant, Nicholas Hart, was found to have an outstanding warrant for a drug charge and was taken into custody.

The Ohio Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation of the accident.
