The Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a serious injury crash. The crash occurred on Old Columbus Road approximately a quarter mile east of North Bird Road.

At approximately 8:50pm on February 13, 2017 a 2004 Ford F-250 driven by Jimmy Stiltner 40, of Springfield Ohio was traveling westbound on Old Columbus Road. Mr. Stiltner drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Mr. Stiltner was trapped in the vehicle for approximately a half hour. Mr. Stiltner was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Care Flight. The crash closed Old Columbus Road for approximately two hours. Any inquiries reference the crash investigation can be directed to Trooper Aaron Estle of the Springfield Highway Patrol Post.
