The Bethel Twp. Fire Department responded to an accident involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle shortly after 5pm on Tuesday, October 18.

According to Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly, a Deputy Sheriff attempted to arrest Charles Dean Wiley of New Carlisle. Wiley allegedly fled the scene on a motorcycle in a “reckless manner” before crashing into a pickup truck at the intersection of State Route 235 and Gerlaugh Rd.

Wiley was transported to Miami Valley Hospital and treated with minor injuries.

Wiley later fled from Miami Valley Hospital and, as of press time, is still on the run.

According to Sgt. Trimble, Dean Wiley is listed as “armed and dangerous.”

“He is a menace to the community, and we need him off the streets” said Trimble of Wiley. Trimble noted that Wiley is wanted by multiple agencies on multiple warrants.

If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Dean Wiley, Sgt. Trimble encourages you to call 911.
