Another notch in the Cross County Conference championship run has been eliminated last week, as the Bethel boys’ basketball team defeated Tri County North 79-56 to remain undefeated at 7-0 in the CCC.

It was the type of game that the Tecumseh girls’ basketball team needed right now.

It was a successful day at the Shawnee Invitational for the three area swim teams last week, as Tecumseh, Northwestern and Greenon all had several of their swimmers place in the top 20 of the meet.

After earning a big one point win recently, Bethel girls’ basketball coach Mark Mays stated it was about the same time last year that the Bees earned a close win, which helped propel them to a better ending to the season.

One of a coaches biggest struggles is having their team focused over the holiday break.

Coming off of a tough loss at Ponitz last week, the Bethel girls’ basketball team wanted to get back on track on Saturday hosting Ansonia, trying to get a league victory.

Arrows Bowling Squad Defeats Lake Tecumseh’s boys’ bowling team defeated Indian Lake 2625-2136.

For the first ten minutes of the game, the Tecumseh boys’ basketball team were trading baskets with host Urbana, setting up what was hoping to be a good battle all night at Urbana High School.

Tecumseh put together a solid meet with 170 team points, as they cruised to the championship of the Clark County Invitational last weekend at Springfield High School.
