Arrows Fifth At VV

Tecumseh placed fifth overall at the Valley View wrestling Invitational on Saturday.

The Arrows had four grapplers place as runner-ups, including Blake Biteman at 126 pounds, Tommy Rowe at 132, Gage Whitt at 145 and Eric Masden as 170.

Placing third for the Arrows was Gavin Sineff at 120, while Caleb Young was fourth at 152.

Tecumseh Boys Bowling - The Arrows fell short to Kenton Ridge last week 2843-2592. Tecumseh was led by Dylan Terrell 238-173, Matt Brown 192-206, Caleb Collins 202-169, Jay Woosley 182-163 and Zach Helm 181-157.

Tecumseh also defeated Tippecanoe 2770-2366, as Woosley led with 239-212, Terrell 237-183, Helm 236-180, Collins 174-210 and Brown 173-162.

Tecumseh Girls Bowling

Tecumseh lost to Kenton Ridge 2519-2031 last Friday night in a CBC contest. Jessica Perkins rolled a 193-181 to lead the Arrows, Katie Stamper had 201-168, Jennifer Dilley 127-141, Alyson Frock 137-113, Adrienne Lutz 108 and Kaley Thompson 88.

The Arrows also defeated Tippecanoe 2052-1851. Stamper led with 175-150, Dilley 170-152, Perkins 149-155, Frock 139-137, Thompson 160 and Lutz 112.

Northwestern Boys Basketball

The Warriors defeated Indian Lake last week in boys basketball action 61-60 in a conference game. Kurt Waters led Northwestern with 23 points in the win, Liam Randall added eight while scoring seven each was Cole Brewer and Ryan Cleland.

Northwestern then defeated Ben Logan 58-55 on Friday to run their record to 4-8 overall.
