Tecumseh opened their week with a very productive win over Shawnee, as the boys and girls teams both enjoyed victories. For the boys, Tecumseh was victorious 3010-2748, as all five bowlers nearly bowled 200-plus games for the entire match. Leading the way for the Arrows was Zach Helm with a 257-236, followed by Caleb Collins with a 225-222, Dylan Terrell 235-212, Noah Burns 201-205, Matt Brown 234-171. The baker games for Tecumseh were 191, 223, 207 and 191.

The girls’ also had little trouble with Shawnee, cruising to a 2440-1734 victory. Katie Portner rolled a 278-203 to lead the Arrows, followed by Michayla Chapman 230-171, Amy Burgher 176-157, and single games from Jessica Perkins 197, Katie Stamper 137, Maddie Dusko 134 and Adrienne Lutz 120. The Arrows also rolled baker games of 148, 191, 143 and 155.

Also last Friday, the Arrows lost a close match with Kenton Ridge in both the boys and girls matches. For the Arrow boys, they fell 2746-2652. Burns led Tecumseh with 169-210, Brown 215, Helm 227-163, Terrell 179-189, with other single matches coming from Collins 180 and Woosley 199. Their baker results were 217, 190, 200 and 154.

On the girls’ side, Tecumseh lost 2314-2252. Portner led with a 185-221, Stamper 127-178, Burgher 166-158, Perkins 123-162 and Chapman 156-151.

Another area team who picked up a win was Northwestern, who defeated the Graham boys’ team 2735-2243. Northwestern was led by Austin Sweet with a 247-196, KT Wallace 170-213, Hunter Berthold 198-172, Cody North 184-172, along with games from Aaron Sherman 183 and Collin Coyle 179. Their baker scores in the win included 183, 221, 223 and 194.

Coming up short against Graham was the Northwestern girls’ squad, falling 2585-2259. Elizabeth Sakiatis led the way for the Warriors with a 257-161, and was followed by Ashley Garrett 174-137, Kristen Williams 149-143, Dana Coyle 140-139 and Hannah Holt-Grim 177. Baker results were 165, 134, 165 and 182.

Greenon lost a close league match against Ben Logan last week 2519-2437. High roller for Greenon was Jesse Cook with a 176-207, Jason Pritchard 185-168, Sean Freeze 174-177, Jacob Stoner 170-115, and single scores from Frankie Gmuca 181 and Kennie Vincent 141. Their baker scores were 222, 232, 175, 114.

The Knights girls’ team also fell short to the Raiders 2122-1677. Bowling for Greenon were Victoria Critchley with a 137-122, followed by Abbey Herzog 125-131, Amanda Smith 112-131, followed by Cheyanne Cook 124-118 and a single game bowled by Ella Sermersheim 98. Greenon’s baker scores were 118, 116, 131 and 117.

Troy won their boys’ match with Trotwood last week, 2307-1587. Aaron Stone led the way with a 251-226, Corey Shiltz 217-205, Hayden Jackson 209-189, Jason Shiltz 184-191, and two bowlers split a two game series; Jeff Manning 184 and AJ Kendall 139.

Tippecanoe edged Stebbins in a boys match 2598-2581. Ryan Rittenhouse led the way for Tipp with a 227-194, followed by Charles Jayes 207-184, Stephen Ridgeway 166-195, Nick Lanham 184-159, and Wyatt Wilson 172-148. The following day, they defeated Kenton Ridge 2640-2592. Rittenhouse bowled a 261-180 to lead Tipp, followed by Ridgeway 189-211, Lanham 144-231, Jayes 162-178 and Wilson 201-133.
