Upcoming senior, Brody Martin was selected to participate in the Blue-Grey National Football Combine.

The Blue-Grey Football was established in 1989 and the founders were Gus Bell and his son Erik Bell, they established the brand to help prep prospects from all over the country receive national exposure and increase their chances to secure scholarships to a college, whether that be at the NCAA, NAIA or Junior College.

The Blue-Grey Football hosts close to 20 All-American Combines at venues all over the country with most taking place inside NFL stadiums and practice facilities that are home to NFL franchises.

On April 17, Martin attended the Midwest Regional combine held at Paul Brown Stadium, located in Cincinnati, which is home to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Martin performed well at the combine, running a 4.66 in the 40-yard dash and completing the shuttle run 4.28 and excelled in other drills.

Brody explains his work ethic and preparation for the Super Regional.

“I have a very strong work ethic. I work hard day in and day out and I love to go out there and compete.”

Approximately 110 athletes were in attendance in Cincinnati and Martin was one of few to be invited to the Super Regional, located in Canton at the Pro Football Hall of Fame June 18-19.

Martin explains his excitement for moving on to the Super Regional in Canton.

“I’m really excited and worked so hard. My family has been helping me through this and I’m just really excited to be there.”

He went on to say, “I’m ready to represent Tecumseh High School and the city of New Carlisle.”

While in Canton, he looks to show college coaches what he can do on the field and also take a tour of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

After the combine, Brody hopes to gain better technique from the coaches that’ll help him become a better player.

Currently, Martin is a two-sport athlete in football and basketball at Tecumseh High School and last season he received first-team All Central Buckeye Conference.

After high school, Brody plans on playing football at the next level, either at a Division II or III university.

Heading into his senior season, the talented running back/ safety has big plans for himself and the Arrows this upcoming season.

“One of my main goals is becoming Player of the Year in the CBC and hope to lead my team to a conference championship.”
