As the regular season comes to a close, the Tecumseh baseball team is playing their best baseball of the season putting together a string of victories last week, starting with a 14-6 rout of Springfield, which included an eight-run third inning to open the game for the Arrows.

Hunter Hensley and Reid Hale each had three hits in the win, with Hensley driving in three runs with two doubles and scoring three runs. Hale added three RBIs with two runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.

Conner Yeary added a pair of hits and two runs. Also contributing for the Arrows was Kyle McDonald with a pair of RBIs, Gavin Wasson with two hits, and a complete game on the mound from Anthony Steele.

*The Arrows came back with a big league victory over Stebbins, as Hensley pitched a four hitter leading Tecumseh to a 4-0 win over the Indians. Tecumseh led 1-0 for most of the game before sealing the game with a three spot in the sixth.

Steele had a double for the Arrows, while Keaton Mohler added a hit, two walks and an RBI. Hensley struck out six in the win for Tecumseh.

*In their second game of the series, Stebbins scored three runs to open the game, but watched as the Arrows fought back with a run in the third, and five runs in their final two at-bats to earn a 6-4 victory over the Indians.

Hale earned the win for the Arrows, his second of the season. Blais Hale was 2-3 for the Arrows and scored two runs, while Jack Dague added a pair of hits and four RBIs. Caleb Ricks contributed two hits for the Arrows in the win.

*Tecumseh also defeated Ben Logan 5-2 as they scored four times in the fifth inning to turn a 2-0 deficit into a lead.

Dague won his third game of the season for Tecumseh striking out six, as Blais Hale had three hits, Dague and Ricks each added two.

*The Arrows recovered after Northwestern led off the game with three runs, and shut them out the rest of the way as they won 5-3.

Yeary won for the Arrows with Henlsey getting the save. Hale had a double for Tecumseh, while Hensley added a homerun and double with two RBIs, while Dague and Ricks each added two hits.

Tecumseh Softball- It was a slugfest last week as the Arrows softball team defeated Stebbins 20-10 in the first of two meetings with the Indians last week. Jessica Wilson led the charge for the Arrows with four hits, Jenny Wright added one hits and three runs batted in, and freshman Ashley Fite was 3-3 with four RBIs, two doubles and three walks for the Arrows.

Also for Tecumseh, Micaela Pearson also was 3-6 with four runs batted in, Julia Jones was 2-4 with both hits leaving the park, three RBIs, and added a pair of walks. Also adding two hits each was Brooke Barger and McKenzie Drews.

Fite pitched the complete game with 10 strikeouts for the Arrows.

*The following evening, the Arrows came back with a 12-2 run-rule victory in five innings. Wilson pitched for the Arrows with 12 strikeouts. Chrissy Moyer went 2-3 with a double and two RBIs, Pearson added three more hits with three runs batted in, Barger and Jones each added two hits.
