The road to the state tournament began on Saturday for the Tecumseh girls’ basketball team, as they took their 19-3 record to Troy High School for a battle against Xenia, a team the Arrows destroyed by 50 points back in December.

IMG 6118The Tecumseh Arrows close out the regular season with a tough 58-51 win against the Bellefontaine Chieftains Friday night in New Carlisle.

The second season is upon us.

It was a successful day on Saturday, as the CBC wrestling tournament took place at Kenton Ridge High School, and several grapplers placed in the top six at the end of the day.

The Arrows Store opened to the public for the first time on Friday, February 5.

They may play at some point in the future, but the annual twice-a-year rivalry is over between Tecumseh and Tippecanoe.

Tecumseh- The Arrows boys’ squad defeated Stebbins last week 2663-2403, led by Dylan Terrell 246-209, Zach Helm 187-215, Caleb Collins 226-167, Matt Brown 224-151 and Jay Woosley 149-152.

Last weekend the CBC Swimming championships were held at Wright State, and both Tippecanoe and Tecumseh both finished near the top of the standings.

The Tecumseh Arrows Swimming competed on Wednesday, January 27, at the Trotwood Madison Natatorium, and joined with the other competing teams to recognize graduating seniors.

IMG 5312After suffering their first conference loss recently to Shawnee, the Tecumseh boys’ basketball team got back on the winning track last week, as they dominated Graham in a crossover game 72-42.
