At the CCC track meet the Bethel boys and girls both finished in 10th place overall, the girls with 14 points and boys scored 18 points.

The girls started their scoring on Thursday with the 4x8 team of Rachel Sebastian, Olivia Rust, Madi McCabe and Kayla Grable finishing in 6th in a time of 11:35.12. Bailey McCabe finished in 4th in the High Jump with a jump of 4’ 10”.

Grable was 8th in the long jump with a jump of 14’ 5”, Brooklyn Smith was 8th in the 100 in a time of 14.47, Bailey McCabe was 6th in the 400 in a time of 66.59 and the 4 by 400 relay team of Bailey McCabe, Kayla Grable, Jasmine Kreider and Makenzie Hoeferlin were 8th in a time of 4:47.91.

For the boys, the 4 by 800 relay was 7th in a time of 9:45.10 with Korry Hamlin, Connor Whelan, Peyton Chapman and Peyton Inman. Korry Hamlin finished second in the 1600 and 3200 in times of 4:41.7 and 10:25.0.

Softball - The Bees were eliminated from the sectional tournament last week, falling 10-0 to West Liberty Salem.

“We played decent in the field today, but we couldn’t get anything going at the plate,” Bethel coach Jeremy Reittinger said.
