Tecumseh used a big first and fourth quarter, en route to a 62-38 rout of Oakwood in a non-conference game last week. It was part of a week that saw the Arrows also defeat Stebbins on Saturday for a CBC win.

The Arrows led 17-6 after the opening period against Oakwood, and used a strong 18-7 final eight minutes to put the game away.

Lindsey Nartker led the way for the Arrows with a game high 21 points, followed by Caroline Smith with 14 and Danielle Franklin added 12. Defensively, Smith held high scoring guard Courtney Eggleston from Oakwood to no field goals, and three total points.

On Saturday night, the Lady Arrows ran their record to 6-3 overall with an impressive 84-54 win over Stebbins in CBC action. Franklin netted 25 points in the win, followed by 20 from Nartker, 16 from Smith, and 14 from Allison Berner.

Tecumseh is back in action Saturday at Bellefontaine, tipoff at 7:30.

Arrows Bowlers Split- The Tecumseh bowling team was in action twice last week, battling league foes Kenton Ridge and Tippecanoe. Against Kenton Ridge, the Arrows lost 2738-2704 in a close match. Tecumseh was led by Dylan Terrell with a 257-198, followed by Zach Helm 192-204, Noah Burns 182-186, while single game scores were recorded from Austin Ward 188, Matt Brown 172, Jay Woosley 172 and Caleb Collins 149.

Their baker scores were 191, 201, 211, 201.

Against Tippecanoe, the Arrows were victorious 2580-2418, as Burns rolled a 139-130, Helm 191-252, Terrell 201-223, while Ward rolled a 185, Collins 158 and Woosley 194. The baker scores were 174, 183, 181 and 195.

On the girls side, Kenton Ridge defeated Tecumseh 2265-2218 in another close battle. Katie Portner led the way for the Arrows with a 227-169, Michayla Chapman had a 216-135, Maddie Dusko 125-162, Amy Burgher 142-120 and Katie Stamper 124-137. In the baker games, Tecumseh rolled a 134, 211, 177 and 139.

Against the Red Devils, the Arrows rolled to an easy 2026-1526 victory, for their fourth win of the season.

Tecumseh was led by Portner with a 223-171, while Stamper finished with a 148-155, Burgher 140-148, Adreinne Lutz had a 143-123, while single game finals came from Dusko 121 and Jessica Perkins 154. The baker scores for the Arrows were 103, 139, 126 and 142.

Wrestling- Tecumseh rolled up 330 team points to win the Clark County Clash on Saturday at Shawnee High School. Northwestern was third overall with 276.

Winning county titles for the Arrows included Blake Biteman at 120 and Tristan Taylor at 285, while finishing as runner-up was Conner Maxwell at 106, Hunter Donnen at 113, Dylan Johnson at 126, Allen Eben at 132 and Steven Marker at 145.

For Northwestern, winners included Devin Rogers at 132, Andrew Franzen at 138 and Conner Rogers at 182. Runner-up include Ben Boggs at 120 and Jacob Dooley at 195.
