Tecumseh knocked off Northwestern last week in a CBC boys bowling match, as both teams hold onto second place in their respective division of the Central Buckeye Conference. Tecumseh won their 15th match of the season, and only trails a very talented Urbana team in the Kenton Trail Division with a 10-3 league record. Urbana stands 13-0.

As for Northwestern, they stood 8-6 on the season after that match, and are only one game behind the Graham Falcons in the Mad River Division.

In their match, the Arrows defeated Northwestern 2933-2531, as the Arrows were led by Dylan Terrell, who bowled a 245-204 series for a 449. Right behind Terrell was Jay Woosley, who rolled a 258-186 for a 444 series for the Arrows. Matt Brown finished with a 184-214 for a 398 series, Allen Ward bowled a 211-176 (387) and Leo Williams finished with a one-game total of 243.

Northwestern used several bowlers in this match, and were led by Cody North who bowled a 165-188 (353), one of only two bowlers to roll two games. Ryan Hays was next for the Warriors as he finished with a 173-161 for a 334 series.

Several bowlers each bowled one game, including Alex Bainbridge 179, Evan Russell 170, JJ Legge 163, Garrett Byers 159 and Kevin Whitt 138.

Also in a match that would give Graham the Mad River Division lead, Graham defeated Northwestern 2834-2612. Russell led the way for the Warriors as he bowled a 231-225 for a 456 series. North finished with a 175-243 (418), Austin Banks 178-173 (351), Legge 189-144 (333), while single games from Hays (204) and Bainbridge (139) rounded out the scores for Northwestern.

*Girls Bowling- Northwestern defeated Tecumseh in girls’ bowling 2479-2344 as the Warriors remained undefeated on the season at 13-0 overall. Tecumseh dropped to 6-11 overall.

The Warriors were led by Dana Coyle with a 198-245 (443), Ashley Garrett 190-196 (386), Ashlyn Stollings 187-151 (338), Madison Current 160-151 (311), and single games from Megan Fricke 188 and Danielle Berthold 146.

Tecumseh was led by Anna Ryman with 201-154 (355), with Adrienne Lutz 148-191 (339), Madison Dusko 192-138 (330), Alaina Collins 137-134 (271), along with Hannah Suver 170 and Kiersten Means 131.

Earlier in the week, Northwestern secured their regular season league title with a 2729-2667 win over second-place Graham.

Stollings led the way for Northwestern including a 300 game, as he rolled a 277-300 for a 577. Megan Fricke also bowled a 201-209 (410), Berthold 201-188 (389), and Current finished with a 159-179 (338). Also bowling single games were Coyle 148 and Garrett 140.
