born July 14, 1952 in Seco, Letcher County, KY to the late Raymond & Anna Mae (Cockrell) Proffitt, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Bill Donaghy in 2007; son, James Clifford Campbell in 1967; brothers, James Clifford White in 1966 & Danny W. Proffitt in 2008; sister, Dana Frazier in 1949; and grandparents, Odessa & Noah Cockrell, and William & Lyda Proffitt. Linda is survived by her daughter, Tammy Lynn (John Jr.) Thomas of Fairborn; granddaughter, Wray Lynn Thomas of Fairborn; step-grandson, John Thomas III; step-great-grandson, Kaleb Thomas; nephews, Danny Ray Proffitt & James Darren White of Fairborn; and many cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, family members & friends. Linda enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening, and she especially adored Christmas. She was a member of the Medway Amvets Post 148 & the Fairborn American Legion Post 526. Linda was loved by many & will be missed.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, OH. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery.
