Douglas “Keith” Yetter, age 83 born in New Carlisle March 31, 1933, passed away July 4, 2016 at the Hospice of Dayton. Son of Wilber”Jack” Yetter and Jane Lydia(Coddington) Yetter-Boeshaar. Keith graduated from New Carlisle High School Class of 1951, the last graduating class from New Carlisle HS before Tecumseh was established and built.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, was Sales Manager at Industrial Grinding Inc. in Dayton, retiring in 2000 after 43 years of service. Keith was a member of the Dayton Canoe Club, Dayton Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite, he was Director of Greeters and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters for the Dayton Shriners. Keith enjoyed reading the New Carlisle News to keep up with on old acquaintances and activities from his childhood home.

Keith is survived by Nadine (Cooper) whom he married 62 years ago in the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren. Also survived by son Douglas Yetter of Indiana, daughters Ann ( Barry) Thoma of Maryland and Rachael Yetter of Dayton. Three grandchildren Mariah Yetter, Jessica ( Robert) Conry of Dayton and Cameron Thoma of Maryland. Two Great Grandsons Miles and Chase

Sister Patty ( Bobby) Boggs of North Hampton, nieces Tammy Irick ,Cheryl Sigler,Debra Mercer, Tammy Cooper-Taylor, Mendy Avant, nephews Dwayne Gremler, Shawn and Jeff Bott, and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Cletus and Rachael Cooper, sister in law Carol Bott, bothers in law Larry Cooper and David Gremler. A graveside service was held July 8th, 2016 at Dayton National Veterans Cemetery.
