Fifty walkers participated in the 2017 Crop Walk and raised $8,576 to fight hunger. Of that amount, slightly over $2,000 will stay in New Carlisle.

The New Carlisle Jr. Optimist Club came to the Crop Walk with $633 in donations, and Michelle Barber brought $611 by asking people around town for as little as a dollar.
