Two people were injured in a head-on crash in the 8200 block of State Route 571 Saturday morning.

One of the injured suffered head injuries and could not answer questions posed by Medics.

Neither of the injured wanted to go to the hospital, but were convinced to do so by Medics.

There were no skid marks on the pavement.

The incident remains under investigation by the Miami County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were assisted by the Bethel (Miami) Fire Department and Medics and by New Carlisle Medics.
