Clark County Sheriff Deputies have arrested a Bethel Township man and charged him with breaking into the Dollar General Store, 1215 S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd.

Roger L. Swyers, Jr., age 36 of 1091 S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd., Lot 4, was charged with Breaking and Entering, Drug Abuse and failure to appear on a warrant.

A store employee arrived at work at 5:44 a.m. and saw that the store had been broken into and notified deputies. The front door had been broken out.

Deputies viewed surveillance video which showed a male subject throwing an object through the door glass and entering the store. The subject then tried to break open the cigarette display case but was unsuccessful and fled the store.

Swyers was located at a residence on Woodbury Rd. and was arrested. He was found to have 13 Xanax pills that were not prescribed to him.

Swyers will appear in Clark County Municipal Court at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
