Ohio PTA is accepting registrations for its Summer Leadership Training to be held July 30 in the Columbus area and Aug. 13 in the Cleveland area.

Workshop topics include information for PTA presidents and treasurers, recruiting, leadership skills, goal setting, conflict management, learning standards and assessments, and more.

The Saturday, July 30 training will be at South-Western Career Academy, 4750 Big Run South Road, Grove City. The Saturday, August 13 training will be at Stow-Monroe Falls High School, 3227 Graham Road Stow. Both are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $50 for two people. Lunch is included.

The Ohio PTA, a 115-year-old branch of the National PTA, is composed of nearly 70,000 members in over 500 units. The organization works to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
