Andrea Priest Gray, Tecumseh High School class of 2000, is this week’s nominee of the Arrow Alumni feature.

As a student at Tecumseh High School, Gray was a student trainer for the athletic department. She was a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Student Council, and Muse Machine.

Following graduation, Gray attended Wright State University earning a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education with a focus in reading instruction and a Master’s degree in educational leadership. She has been employed by Clark Shawnee Schools for nine years as a Title I teacher at Rockway Elementary School.

In previous years, Gray remained active in the district taking tickets at athletic events and attending Tecumseh Theater productions. She and her husband Matthew Gray are the parents of two children, Aubrey (5) and Alex (3). Aubrey is a kindergartner at Park Layne Elementary. She enjoys soccer, dance, and cheerleading. Alex likes the outdoors and recently started playing soccer. The Grays are active members of the Enon United Methodist Church and reside in Springfield.
