Blake Shroyer, Tecumseh class of 2002, is this week’s nominee of the Arrow Alumni feature.

As a student at Tecumseh High School, Shroyer was active in the Astronomy Club, Symphonic Choir, Show Choir, Fellow of Christian Athletes (FCA), Muse Machine, National Honor Society, Nutrition Advisory Council, Students Against Drunk Drivers (SADD), Science Beyond the Classroom, football, basketball (team captain), and track.

A 2006 Miami University graduate, Shroyer earned dual degrees in finance and organizational leadership. For the last eight years, he has been employed by Fifth Third Bancorp as a senior finance manager. As a member of the Young Bankers of Cincinnati, Shroyer teaches financial literacy to 5th graders in the Cincinnati area. He also volunteers to assist their parents during tax season.

He and his wife Kenley reside in Mt. Lookout with their daughters Lillian and Allie. Shroyer values the time he spends back home at his late father’s family farm near New Carlisle and looks forward to someday sharing these memories with his young daughters.
