Bryan Heck, Tecumseh class of 2002, is this week’s nominee of the Arrow Alumni feature.

According to his nomination, Heck was a leader in high school and continues to be a leader for the city of Springfield serving as the Deputy City Manager. As a student at Tecumseh High School, he was active in athletics playing football and baseball all four years.

Heck holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wittenberg University and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Dayton. In addition to his duties as Assistant to the City Manager, he is a board member for the Second Harvest Food Bank and the Leadership Academy of Clark County.

Still active in athletics, Heck enjoys running, biking, and coaching his children’s sports teams. He is also a fan of the Arrows and Buckeyes football teams. He and his wife, the former Bailey Gilbert (THS 2004), are the parents of two children Kamryn, a student at Park Layne Elementary; and Colston, a preschooler at Medway Elementary. The Hecks reside in Springfield.
