Northwestern Local School Superintendent Jesse Steiner proudly presented two students for recognition at the New Carlisle Rotary Club this week.

The Northwestern Rotary Student of the Month for October is Liam Randall. Liam is an excellent student who is very involved in extracurricular activities. He plays basketball and runs for the school cross country team. He is a member of the video productions team, student council, National Honor Society, and serves as the senior class secretary. Outside of school, Liam is very involved in Young Life and provides service to his church’s food pantry and Interfaith Hospitality Network. Liam plans to attend the University of Dayton and major in Computer Science.

Dale Reno is the Northwestern Rotary Citizen of the Month for October. Dale is a positive presence within the school community and serves as a leader among his peers. He is the senior class president, a member of the video productions team, and can often be seen on stage in various Northwestern performances. He actively participates in Young Life, Student Council, and Junior Achievement. Dale plans to pursue an undergraduate degree in Marketing and a graduate degree in Business Administration.
