Tecumseh School Board Dedicates Concession Stand to Roller Family

The Tecumseh School Board has shown their gratitude to the Roller family by dedicating the football concession stand to the family.

“You’ve never been to an event that the Rollers weren’t involved,” said board member Mert Christmann.

The board noted that the family has served the community as volunteers for nearly 50 years.

The resolution adopted by the board states, “The Tecumseh High School Football/Track Concession Stand shall be formerly (sic) dedicated to the Roller Family and shall therefore be known as The Roller Family Concession Stand.”

The board also approved several personnel changes.

Betty Chase, a New Carlisle Elementary teacher, will retire at the end of her 2016-2017 contract.

Margaret Van Fleet will be the Park Layne Elementary Principal’s Secretary effective April 3.

Robin Patrick, Megan Ramsey and Vince Shuler were hired as certified substitutes on an as-needed basis.

Amanda Chassereau, Robert Kettlehake, Melissa Peters, Jordan Rose and Kiersten Diller were hired as classified employees on an as-needed basis.

Jason Early has been hired as a softball assistant coach.
