Lucy Eier, daughter of Craig and Renee Eier, is currently ranked first in the class of 2017 with a 4.1 GPA. She was named WDTN’s Athlete of the Week during volleyball season.

Eier has played varsity volleyball and participated in FFA since her freshman year of high school. For several years, she has shown quarter horses throughout the state.

In addition to FFA classes, Eier’s class schedule includes French III, Honors Physics, and Advanced Placement courses in Government, Calculus, and English. She volunteers to take tickets at football and basketball games.

A favorite school memory was winning the volleyball CBC championship her junior year. Eier recognized Mrs. Williams as her most influential teacher.

An avid reader, Diehl volunteers in the high school library and is an audio leader for the auditorium. He volunteered at the 2016 Air Force Marathon and is a small group leader for grades K-3 in his church.

Diehl’s favorite high school memories are Muse Machine in-school performances and participating in the musicals. His most influential teacher is Mr. McKenny. After graduation he plans to study cyber security or digital forensics.
