Kindergarten Registration at ALL Tecumseh Local Elementary Buildings
- March 20 – 24 9 am – 2 pm at Medway, Park Layne, Donnelsville and New Carlisle
- April 3 – 7 9 am – 2 pm at Medway, Park Layne, Donnelsville and New Carlisle
- April 6 from 3:30 – 6:00 pm at Park Layne Elementary ONLY
If you require an interpreter, please plan to register this night or bring an interpreter with you.
Documents listed below are needed for kindergarten. If you do not have any of these documents, please plan to register now and secure documents by the assessment May 18 and 19. You will schedule your child’s assessment day and time at registration.
- Official Birth Record (Not Hospital Record)
- Immunization Record
- Proof of Residency or approved Open Enrollment Application
- Parent Photo ID
- Custody Papers if Applicable
At Kindergarten Assessment children will be assessed in academic areas (i.e. counting, letter identification, rhyming, letter sounds, colors, etc.) and will have vision, hearing and speech screenings. Assessments are done so that school staff has adequate information to place students in balanced classes and to give parents information about a child’s current level of performance. Any child who meets the age requirement can attend kindergarten regardless of their performance at assessment. Please allow about an hour for your child’s assessment.
