At the September 2, 2015 meeting of the Clark County Commissioners, the commissioners authorized three Inter-governmental agreements with villages in Clark County for the 2015 Chip and Fog Seal. They authorized agreements with the Village of Tremont City for $15,000, the Village of South Charleston for $5,000, and the Village of Catawba for $3,050. The agreements are effective September 2, 2015 through October 31, 2015.

In addition, they authorized a contract amendment with Daniel D. Hrinko, PSY.D to increase the contract by $40,000 for the contract effect October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2016. The contract is now worth $112,000.

They also awarded a contract to Sturm Construction for $172,000 for phase II of the Prentice Drive Street and Drainage Improvements Project.

In regular business, the commissioners approved the cancelation of their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday November 11, 2015 session because of Veterans Day.

In addition, they approved the adoption of the updated Clark County Personnel Policy Manual, which combined the Department of Job and Family Services Personnel Manual with the Clark County Manual to provide consistency throughout all the departments in the county government.

Finally, they accepted a grant agreement with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services for the Clark County Juvenile Court to draw Title IV-E money to place children in foster care facilities and pay for programs.

The next meeting of the Clark County Commissioners is scheduled for September 9, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. in the Commission Conference Room.
