Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly issued a statement today for those planning to attend the Donald Trump campaign rally at the Champion Center tomorrow.

The statement reads:

“For all attending the Trump event at the Clark County Fairgrounds/Champion Center. Prepare just as you would to go to an airport: Leave guns and knives at home, NO weapon will be allowed in. Everyone will have to pass through a screening process administered by the U.S. Secret Service.

After the event, the Clark County Sheriff’s office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol will have Marked Patrol Cars directing traffic to expedite traffic out of the fairgrounds and to also help parents and students leaving Reid School. Please be mindful that we expect thousands to attend this event, which should release between 2:30pm. and 3pm. on Thursday 10/27/2016, we ask that you work with us and we will do everything to make it a safe and pleasant event.

Thank you Sheriff Gene A. Kelly
