332 Galewood

A partner family has been selected for the Habitat For Humanity build site in New Carlisle, and donations are still needed to begin the construction process.

Matt Wilson of Habitat For Humanity said the property has been in their possession for many years, yet they only recently selected a partner family that qualifies.

The property is located in the 300 block of Galewood and the home has been selected to be a three-bedroom, one-bathroom ranch-style house. Wilson said building the home is expected to cost $70,000, and the organization currently has about $4,000 on-hand for the build.

Individuals, businesses, or churches interested in making a tax-deductible donation to the New Carlisle site are encouraged to call Wilson at 937-325-2514, extension 303. Wilson said there is no deadline for donating, but noted that the build will not begin until the $70,000 mark is reached.
