It is getting close to Christmas and we still do not know what to get those we care about. And there is the case of we know what to get but the funds are low. Well there is plenty to give that does not cost a thing. We can use things we already have that will really make a huge difference in others’ lives. For instance, our voice for kindness, our ears for compassion, our hands for charity, our mind for truth, and our heart for love.  Sometimes others just need someone to be there, not to fix anything, or do anything in particular, but just to let them feel that they are cared for and supported. Compassion can be a relationship we give them, because we have known darkness ourselves. Their darkness becomes so real when recognize our shared humanity. We can be the light that shines in those dark times for them. We can be the person that makes a light they never will never forget. We give them the gift of compassion. We can give them a gift of understanding that others do not know how to give. All of us have had dark times, and I hope those of you that have experienced those times ,remember the people who brought the light.

So when you see all those beautiful lights outside and in, remember you have the power to throw some beautiful lights yourself. And don’t let someone dim your light because it is shining in their eyes! Look around you, there are people in need, and people who can help...........BE THE LIGHT........PAY YOUR GOOD FORWARD.....YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID
