Well believe it or not, it is that time of year again. I think our unusual summer has made it hard to believe it is fall and our holidays are here. Here we go again into the hectic seasons of celebrations. We try to make it as special as we can for all that we love both in family and friends.

It is hard for a lot of us who have just lost important people in our family, feeling like the holidays will never be the same. We don’t feel like celebrating because of their absence. Well we are right in the respect that it will never be the same, but we have so many still in our lives to celebrate with. We have new children in the family that deserve the best memories we can give them. We can share stories of all the wonderful things that we remember about our lost ones.

Those we have lost will forever be in our hearts and memories.

There has been a saying  that states, “ IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS”.

Well when you first read that, you automatically think, HOW CAN THAT BE!  Even in the most devastating times, there are blessing among us, and things to be grateful for. There are hard lessons learned, making life altering changes in our lives. These changes can make us realize just how important and precious things are that we still have. There can be times that we connect with someone we have be disconnected with for years. There can be mistakes we have made that have brought valuable lessons to us that has changed our lives. It is hard to find thanks in some tragic of times, but they are there. There are so many things to be thankful for.

And there are things that we can be thankful that we don’t have!!!

Just look around you and see the trials and hard times that others are going through. There are so many that have huge health issues that are causing their lives to be so difficult. Most people do not realize how important their good health is until they do not have it. There are so many struggling to survive on lesser means. There are so many people who have so many hardships. So if you think your life is so bad, perhaps you need to take a look around you. There are many struggling.

It is the holidays ahead to celebrate. We can help others who do not have family to celebrate with. We can bring them into ours, or bring the food to them. It is about helping and doing things for our fellow man. And I know there are those of you who think that you will just concentrate on your own family because you do not have time for others...........well you never know where you might be some day, and you  will be the one who needs that special good deed or help. So in closing....... Tis the season to be thankful for everything you have and don’t have..........And pay some of your good forward......You should always make time for that........Happy thanksgiving......Count your blessings
